Junior Ladder

We would like to invite all junior players to enter our tennis ladder. This ladder is suitable for all levels from orange, green and yellow ball players (ages 7+). When you begin play, you will be placed in a box with players of similar skill levels. A Ladder is meant to give everyone a competitive match so we will match players together as best we can. This is to encourage play and social interaction between the juniors. Parents/Guardians can enter players by the link below

Entries Close on Friday 17th December @9am

All ladder matches must be arranged by a parent/guardian. Children’s names along the parents/guardian’s phone number will be displayed on the club noticeboard in order to arrange matches.

The type of Ladder that we are playing is a Box Ladder. There will be up to 7 people in a box. The intention is that you will play each person in the box once over a 8 week period. At the beginning of the month, you can view your Ladder here https://ti.tournamentsoftware.com/tournament/10EF7472-6ADC-4F38-8DEA-53024A35CF0C or on the notice board in the clubhouse and arrange matches with your box opponents. All scores will be entered by the participants directly on the link provided.

The top 2 players will move up a box, the bottom 2 players will move down a box, and any new players will be added. To ensure active participation in the ladder, players who have not played any ladder matches at the end of the month will be removed from the ladder and will need to re-register to participate.

SCORING
All Ladder matches are one hour including warm-up.

Best of 7 Games

Players will play 7 games. If the score is 3-3 a match tie break will take place, first to 10 points wins.

We would encourage all junior players to enter this ladder to give them a chance to practise their tennis with players of similar ability and make new friends. If you have any queries, we will be available to help.
